An American church, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta will officially open an exclusive private school for homosexual and transgender teenagers in September.
Associated Press reports that the school is being established in Atlanta for students who feel bullied or not accepted in traditional schools.
The school named Pride School Atlanta is open to lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender youths and teachers.
School founder Christian Zsilavetz said the school is also open to any student who feels they are not getting the support they need for being different.
The School’s tuition is set at $13,000, though Zsilavetz says financial assistance will be available for students who need it.
