Fabregas Blames Fellow Chelsea Players For Club’s Poor Form

1 Min Read

All is definitely not well at Chelsea. The club, which won the Barclays Premier League last season, has found itself rooted to the 16th spot on the log, with 15 points from 16 games this season.

The club’s woes were further compounded on Monday when it suffered its ninth defeat this season at the hands of high-flying, Jamie Vardy-inspired Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

However, Spanish midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has dropped a subtle hint that players are to blame for the poor form, which is likely to cost manager, Jose Mourinho his job.

In a question and answer session with the BBC, Fabregas said:  “If you are a big player, and paid like a big player, you must play like a big player and behave like a big player.

“I am not saying you can’t have a bad season and bad games but the attitude must be spot on.

“We must always be at the top of our games, and the behaviour has to be better than what we are seeing right now from every single Chelsea player.”
