The former Everton and Manchester United boss was sacked by Real Sociedad in November and has since been linked with a number of roles in England, including the vacancy at Premier League side Swansea.
Moyes revealed he has been offered a number of jobs since leaving La Liga, but is waiting for an “exciting” role before returning to the dugout.
“I’m really enjoying having a bit of time off just now,” he told Sky Sports.
“If the right job came up and it excited me then I’d be interested in it. I’ve been very fortunate, I’ve been offered some clubs and to go and take jobs but at the moment I’ve chosen to take a wee bit of time.
“But if the right opportunity comes along and I think it’s an exciting one I’m ready to go.”
Moyes spent 12 months in Spain coaching Real Sociedad and led the club away from the relegation zone and to a 12th-place finish.
