The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has granted a grace period of a week to former Niger Delta warlord, Chief Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) to appear for questioning.
The EFCC, according to Channels TV is looking to question the ex-militant turned billionaire contractor over allegations surrounding a N15 bln land scam.
Tompolo was invited last November but failed to appear before the EFCC. He is expected to not repeat the slight due to the present administration’s tough stance on corruption.
