Prophet Remanded For Having ‘Marathon’ Sex With Two Converts

2 Min Read

A man who claims to be a prophet has been remanded in prison custody for having ‘marathon’ sex with two different women under the pretext of performing deliverance on them, while duping them in the process.

Moses Okezie, 49, of 6 Olowo-Okere Street, Idimu, was dragged before a Magistrate Court in Ejigbo for fraud, after allegedly defrauding a 26-year-old lady, Amarachi Dike, of the sum of N1 million and taking her to a hotel where he slept with her for days under the guise of conducting deliverance on her that would give her spiritual empowerment for success.

Investigations showed that Okezie, a father of four, had been charged before the same court back in August 2015 on the same charge of fraud, after allegedly duping 27-year-old Philomena Ajil of the sum of N550,000 and taking her to a hotel in Ikotun where he slept with her for several days before she realised she had been duped.

He was however granted bail on that occasion by Magistrate Mrs J.O.E Adeyemi.

Luck ran out on him on this occasion after the victim Dike reported him at the police station and he was picked up and charged after conclusion of investigation.

His Golf car with registration number AAA 821 BE, which police said he used in luring women into his fraudulent activity has also been impounded and used as exhibit in the case.

When the charges were read to him, Okezie pleaded not guilty and he was granted bail by Magistrate, Mr. A.A. Fashola to the tune of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.

He was however ordered remanded in prison pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions.

The case has been adjourned till December 2, 2015.
