Apple Music Finally Comes On Android

2 Min Read

Apple has released its wave-making Apple Music service on Android devices starting Tuesday.

The service which was launched on iOS on June 30, has about 15 million users already, and customer base is expected to soar with the release on the rival platform.

Apple Music consists of three main features – a music service so users can stream songs, a global 24-hour radio station called Beats One and a social network for artists to share information with fans.

Lovers of Spotify and Tidal are adequately covered on the service.

Apple had earlier promised to launch the service on Android devices but has finally kept its promise, stating that the Apple Music is “All the ways you love music. All in one place.”

The app, which is on the Google Play store already, was designed for phones running the Android 4.3 or higher operating system, but tablets can also use it.

To use the Apple Music service, a token fee of $9.99 (app. N2,000), is required. But before paying for the service, users will be entitled to a 90-day trial period, after which they can decide to subscribe for the service if they are satisfied with the service offered.

However, music video streaming will not be available on the Apple Music for Android at launch, but will be made available at a later date.
