The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Chief Olu Falae has embarked on a medical trip abroad after his health reportedly nose-dived.
The 77-year-old was said to have made the trip to the United Kingdom as a result of the ordeal visited on him during the course of his kidnapping by some Fulani herdsmen in September.
The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation was reportedly first treated in Nigeria after the kidnapping, but decided to go abroad to resolve the health challenges once and for all.
While confirming the trip, the Personal Assistant to Falae, Capt. Moshood Raji (Rtd) told The SUN that the ex-SGF went on vacation and for proper medical check-up, stating that his boss has not been able to rest properly since the kidnapping.
“Baba has traveled to the United Kingdom on vacation and would also have his medical check up there, but he is expected to be back by the end of this month,” he stated.
