Just when Lagosians were beginning to forget the incessant incidents of building collapse in the state, another building collapse has left three teenagers dead and scores trapped.
However, the teenagers who lost their lives have not been identified as at the time of filing this report.
The building located at Orisha street in Isheri, Magodo area of the Lagos metropolis reportedly came crumbling down around 7am on Saturday.
According to residents, torrential rainfall of early Saturday morning may have caused the collapse.
Confirming the incident to journalists, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Mr. Michael Akindele said the agency was working to ensure that those still trapped under the debris are rescued alive.
