Presidency Denies Speculated Ministerial List

1 Min Read

The Presidency has dissociated itself from the speculated ministerial list with portfolios making the rounds.

The Nigerian media space, especially social media, had been awash with rumours that the president had indeed released list of ministers with their portfolios attached.

However, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, confirmed in a counter-statement that the President had done no such thing.

He said that President Buhari will make the portfolios of the ministers known in due course, which is likely to be at their inauguration expected to be done soon.

Adesina said that the speculated list should be ignored, seeing that it was not duly signed.

“Any communication from the presidency must be officially singed. Was that list signed by me or Mr. Garba Shehu? Please, ignore it”, he told Vanguard on Monday.

He was silent on the date for the swearing-in of the ministers.
