The building which reportedly collapsed around 9 a.m on Wednesday morning, has an unspecified number of persons trapped under it, according to the General Manger of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Michael Akindele.
Akindele, who refused to speculate about the number of possible victims trapped under the rubble, said that there have been no casualty yet.

He appealed to the residents of the neighbourhood to remain calm as LASEMA and other rescue agencies were on top of the situation.
