The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the receipt of President Muhammadu Buhari’s list of ministerial nominees on Wednesday evening.
In a statement on the Senate’s official Twitter account, the upper chamber of the National Assembly said, “We can now confirm: We have #TheList.”
The list was delivered to the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki at 4.59pm today by President Buhari’s Chief of Staff Alhaji Abba Kyari and Senior Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang.
President Muhammadu Buhari had promised to unveil the composition of his cabinet before the end of September which ends today.
However, the Senate is yet to reveal the names on the list, names Nigerians cannot wait to hear.
