For long-suffering fans of actress, Genevieve Nnaji, her long hiatus from the movie scene is over as she makes a return in a new flick produced by T.E.N (The Entertainment Network) titled ‘Road to Yesterday.’
The highly-anticipated film will be released in all Nigerian cinemas on Friday, the 27th of November 2015.
Genevieve was last seen on screen in the 2013 movie adaptation of a book by award-winning writer, Ngozi Chimamanda-Adichie entitled Half of a Yellow Sun. In Road to Yesterday, she stars as ‘Victoria Izu’, a conflicted wife and mother.
Directed by Ishaya Bako, the film also stars: Oris Erhuerho, Majid Michel, Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah and veteran actress Ebele Okaro.
Set in Lagos Nigeria, Road to Yesterday is an epic love story, about a couple desperate to mend its marriage on a road trip to a relative’s funeral. However when memories and secrets from the past are revealed, a lot more is at stake than their relationship.
