Veteran Juju maestro, Ebenezer Obey and ace music producer, Don Jazzy were honoured at the 90th Anniversary Concert of The Eternal Sacred Order Of Cherubim and Seraphim Church which held recently.
Also honoured at the event, which took place at the Nigeria Institute of Sports Stadium, Surulere on Friday, September 11th 2015, were Ibadan-based gospel music acts, Adegbodu Twins.
The presentation was done by church elders including General Secretary, Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Elder Napo Emuchay; Deputy Baba Aladura, Harold Olusegun Demuren and Board Member, Elder Ndison.
A major highpoint of the occasion was when Don Jazzy revealed that he had his music roots in Cherubim and Seraphim Church. He declared that his root was in the C&S church just like late juju performer, I.K Dairo and Shina Peters.
Mavin records act Korede Bello who was there to support his boss also performed his hit track God Win and in a surprising move, Don Jazzy picked up the bass guitar to join Korede as the congregation sang along to God Win.
