The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has laid down specific guidelines to be adhered to by the country’s officials who have indicated interest to contest for the FIFA presidency next year.
Former Nigeria captain Segun ‘Mathematical’ Odegbami and for Abia State Governor Orji Uzor Kalu have declared their interest to replace outgoing FIFA boss Sepp Blatter.
In a communiqué after an emergency executive committee in Port Harcourt, the NFF stated the candidates have to get a letter of endorsement from CAF as well as their respective Football Associations.
The aspirants should also present a letter of support from the National Sports Commission (NSC).
They also have to prove they fulfil all the FIFA presidential elections eligibility provisions.
