No fewer than eighteen cattle were reportedly shot dead on Monday night in Sho village, a Fulani Community in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau state by suspected gunmen.
Muhammad Adam Muhammad, who is Secretary of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Nigeria (MACBAN) in Barkin Ladi, revealed that the killed cattle belonged to Madaki Ahmadu Hari, adding that the case has been reported to sector 7 of STF in Barikin Ladi .
Also in a similar incident, a community leader in Barikin Ladi two has been attacked by unknown gunmen who shot severally at his residents.
The community leader Mallam Isyaku who spoke to newsmen yesterday said the gunmen stormed his residents at about 12: 30 midnight and started shooting sporadically.
Isyaku further lamented on the development saying they have been faced with intimidation and harassment recently in the area, calling on the government to intervene on the matter and bring an end to it.
