Earlier this week, the ghostwriting feud between Meek Mill and Drake took a strange turn when the Meek responded on Twitter describing Drake’s earlier song Charged Up as ‘soft.’
Now, Drake has issued another response in the three-minute song Back To Back Freestyle. This song lays it on much thicker, mocking Meek Mill for being a lesser-known musician who’s piggybacking on Nicki Minaj’s fame:
“This for y’all that think that I don’t write enough / They just mad cause I got the Midas touch / Ya love her then ya gotta get a world tour / Is that a world tour, or your girl’s tour? / I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more / Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers / You getting’ bodied by a singin’ nigga,”. “And shout to all my boss bitches wifin’ niggas! / Make sure you hit ‘em with the prenup / Then tell that man to ease up / I did another one, I did another one / You still ain’t done shit about the other one.” raps Drake.
