Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva mother of veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday July 19th, 2015. She was 89.
The deceased was the third female doctor in Nigeria but the first Nigerian female to bag a medical degree. She was also bestowed with the honorable award of Officer of the Order of The Niger (OON).
She’s survived by her children and grandchildren.
