A non governmental organization, Laurel Initiative for Development Alternative (LINDA) recently partnered with the Legal Research and Resource Development Centre (LRRDC) on expanding access to First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) skills among employees.
The training workshop took place last week at the Headquarters of LRRDC in Lagos.
Speaking with The Herald, Program Coordinator, Adeola Adefioye said, “Many Nigerians are ignorant about some of the life saving techniques that can prevent serious injury and even death before emergency responders or health workers see a patient. My NGO is recognized by the Red Cross and American Heart Association and our workshops can save employers from great losses in skilled manpower and man hours.”
