BEFORE WE GET TO OUR KNEES
Sir, it is common knowledge that after Nigerians exercise their civil right of voting politicians to power under intense heat and rain, the proximity between commoners and elected leaders expands exponentially and all efforts to reach them always looks like climbing mountain Everest.
We casted our votes to you heavily with high anticipation of projects continuity from where your predecessor stopped, and the appointment of deputy governor as commissioner of education has shown the level of your zeal and willingness to move our education sector to the highest altitude.
Sir, last regime which you played vital role sponsored more than 2500 students for Bsc, Msc and Phd across the globe, but the last 503 batch engulfed with challenges as out of 126 HND first class and upper credit graduates screened more than a year by dissolved ministry of higher education only 24 were included in that batch and remaining were left with admission letters with no option rather than to wait for miracle to happen.
These graduates are the offspring of commoners that brought you to power and they spent their money for international passports and waited for more than a year dreaming about government sponsorship while many rejected job opportunities that came their way which surely shown the degree of trust they have in your regime but in the long run they were left hopelessly with no job, no scholarship but rather admission letters and all effort to reach you and your predecessor for complaint proved abortive.
Sir, you are the last messiah for these young and intelligent son’s of Kano to help them to realize their dreams of furthering their education for the benefit of Kano and Nigeria in general.
Congratulations once again for your success at poll, have a meritorious tenure.
Yours faithfully.
