Imagine a video filled with a list stars like Kanye West, Katy Perry, Chris Rock, Rita Ora, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Diplo and Alexander Wang. That is exactly what pop icon Madonna did in the video for her song Bitch I’m Madonna.
The video which was released exclusively on Jay Z’s music streaming service Tidal on Wednesday was produced by Diplo and also features Nicki Minaj.
Just like anything Madonna does, the video has already courted controversy as fans say the video is similar to Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood video. Though the two don’t look alike in style and have nothing in common when it comes to story-line.
Both singers recruited a slew of celebrities to guest star, though in Taylor’s clip, all the models, singers, and actors had characters, whereas in Madonna’s, the well-known figures mostly just pop in and out quickly.
Even the image that Madge shared on Instagram to tease the video looks like it could have belonged to Taylor Swift and her Bad Blood crew.
Bitch I’m Madonna is the third single from the singer thirteenth studio album, Rebel Heart.
