The former Santos hot-shot got the hosts up and running on 14 minutes when he showed neat control to round Salvatore Sirigu and tuck home after Andres Iniesta had brought the crowd to its feet with an assist that saw him leave four defenders in his wake.
PSG had hoped the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Verratti from suspension would give them an outside chance, but they rarely threatened as the hosts controlled the proceedings without ever nearing top gear.
A second goal was inevitable and it duly arrived from Neymar once more as he took his tally to five in four matches against the French side this season with a well-placed header from Dani Alves’ cross.
