Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade, has been declared the winner of the governorship election in the state by the state Collating Officer, Prof. Comfort Ekpo.
Ayade polled 342,016 votes, ahead of the All Progressives Congress candidate in the state, Odey Ochicha, who polled 53,983 votes.
The Labour Party candidate, Fidelis Ugbo had 36,918 votes.
