The President Elect, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari met with President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting was a closed door meeting.
National Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, was said to have accompanied Buhari to the meeting that lasted about 30minutes.
Chairman, National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections and Former Head of State, Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar (retd.), was also said to have joined them at the meeting.
Details of the meeting have not been made available to the press.
This is the first time both the President and President Elect will be meeting after the elections.
