Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a socio-cultural body of Fulani pastoralists in Northern Nigeria has endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan for re-election. The association also made the president their life patron.
National president of the association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo told the president that “We endorse you as our sole candidate for the 2015 Presidential elections,” when the group visited him at the State House Abuja.
Bodejo had earlier said that Fulani will vote for the candidate who understands their plight.
Bodejo said “We are not known for tribalism; our members are in the six geo-political zones because of the nature of their business; we believe in one Nigeria. So, we are going to vote for the person that knows our plight.
“Nobody will come and deceive us and use tribalism to make us vote for someone that will bring the country backward.”
