Lobi United (nicknamed ‘The Markudi Bombers’) has announced the appointment of Coach Justin Tenger as the club’s new technical adviser barely two weeks to the start of the 2014/15 Nigeria Professional Football League season (NPFL).
The appointment of the former Akwa United coach, according to the club, was on the careful consideration of Tenger’s legendary track records as a seasoned coach.
Tenger, who previously coached Niger Tornadoes, Gombe United, Wikki Tourists and Kwara United, joined the Markurdi outift on his return from a season-long sabbatical, following his resignation of his appointment with the Promise Keepers in 2013.
“We are pleased to announce the arrival of Justin Tenger as technical adviser of Lobi Stars.
“Lobi Stars general manager and former Nigeria international, Barnabas Imenger, announced Tenger’s engagement as technical adviser for the 2014/15 season.
“As part of on-going efforts to re-position the team for the upcoming NPFL season, the management has decided to appoint a seasoned hand,” it said through its official Twitter handle.
