First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Nigeria’s most valuable bank brand through its Sustainability programme, FirstBank Sustainability Centre in partnership with the Lagos Business School is hosting a Sustainability workshop for NGOs and Corporate Organisations to espouse on modern approaches which they can use to address social and environmental concerns of business customers, investors and the media. In the wake of the emerging shift in stakeholder needs which optimizes social responsibility above business profitability, there is a landscape of opportunities for NGOs and corporate organisations to collaborate, increase capacity, sustainability, and deliver service to the community.
The workshop scheduled for February 24 and 25, 2015, from 9am to 5pm daily, will hold at the Lagos Business School – Km 22, Lekki-Epe Expressway Ajah, Lagos. The workshop which has been designed to develop business partnerships between NGOs and corporate organizations to achieve widespread and lasting change in the business environment would also provide capacity building training for NGOs who want to partner with corporate organisations on their sustainability programmes.

The Sustainability workshops for NGOs and Corporations is a CSR initiative of the FirstBank Sustainability Centre, established in collaboration with the Lagos Business School to create, disseminate and apply knowledge, build capacity and promote best practice in Sustainability education in Nigeria.
