Speaker of the House of Representatives and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal has said he will provide free education for non-indigenes if elected.
Tambuwal who spoke during a townhall meeting at Giginya Hotel, Sokoto said “I will see to the possibility that non-indigenes in primary and secondary schools in the state get free education, if I am elected.”
He also emphasised the need for spiritual understanding among Nigerians, he said “As leaders, we must continue to promote dialogue and promote mutual understanding among Nigerians because we need one another for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
“So, what we need as leaders is to encourage confidence building among the people we lead, “he stated.
