Don’t Sell Your PVCs – Imoke

Cross River State governor, Senator Liyel Imoke has warned voters in the state not to sell their Permanent Voter Cards so as to avoid being disenfranchised on election day.

The governor who gave the warning when the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) campaign train stopped over at Ikot Nakanda, headquarters of Akpabuyo Local Government Area in Cross River.

He said “Selling your PVC is tantamount to automatically disenfranchising yourselves and that is dangerous for politics.”

He added that the only way anyone can achieve the desired change is by using their PVC which gives them the power to decide their political future.

Imoke urged the youths to avoid any form of violence before, during and after the elections.

He also admonished politicians to avoid politics of bitterness in order to build a formidable party and a strong state.
