A 75 yr old woman had died of Coronavirus complications in Ekiti State.
The brings the total number of deaths related to the virus to two in the State.
The death of the 75yr old was announced via twitter by the Ekiti State Government.
According to the state government, the woman was one of two samples sent to the NCDC for testing.

She reportedly died before the results of the test confirming her status was ready.
“EKITI COVID-19 UPDATE: We can confirm that one (1) of the samples sent to the NCDC accredited laboratory for testing returned positive of the #COVID19 virus infection.
The new positive case, a 75 year-old female, has died from complications of the virus.“
Ekiti has 20 confirmed coronavirus cases with 13 individuals treated and discharged while 2 people have unfortunately died from the virus.
