A road accident in Cameroon’s eastern region killed seven people and injured six others on Saturday afternoon, according to state television CRTV.

The accident occurred along the Mandjou-Batouri highway, about 20 kilometres from the East regional chief town of Bertoua, when logs fell off a timber-loaded truck before hitting a passenger bus, according to CRTV.
On Wednesday, seven people were killed after a truck collided head-on with a bus carrying 22 passengers along the Douala-Bafoussam highway in the country’s Littoral region, according to local police.
