A video showing the moment when a 6-year-old girl was begging and crying while being arrested by a police officer has surfaced on the internet.
The incident was caught on a US police officer’s body camera.
The video which was shared by Kaia Rolle’s family shows the girl being arrested in September for kicking and punching staff members at her school in Orlando, Florida.
Looking down at zip ties, Kaia can be seen asking: ‘What are those for?’
Police officer Dennis Turner is seen telling her: ‘They’re for you.’
Another officer then tightens them on her wrists and Kaia starts crying. Turner was fired shortly after the arrest. Orlando police chief Orlando Rolon said at the time that Turner did not follow department policy of getting the approval of a watch commander to arrest someone younger than 12.

Kaia can be heard begging as she cries: ‘Help me. Help me, please!’ As she is being walked to the vehicle, she cries, ‘I don’t want to go in a police car.’
The second officer, who has not been identified, responds: ‘You don’t want to? You have to.’ Kaia says: ‘Please, give me a second chance.’
She was taken into custody after she was reported by her school for having a tantrum and kicking a teacher.
According to Metro News, the officer later returned to the office to address the school administrators. The officer tells them that the juvenile detention centre where Kaia was headed is ‘not like you think’.
He then tells them that he has made over 6,000 arrests, the school employees informed him that the girl was just six and not eight like he thought, he replies: ‘Now she has broken the record.’
