Six ships have arrived Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports , waiting to discharge petrol. base oil and frozen fish.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.
The document noted that 42 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive the ports in Lagos.
NPA explained that the expected ships contained buck wheat, bulk salt, crude palm oil, bulk coal, general cargoes, vehicles, Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes, containers, gypsum, petrol and kerosene.
NAN reports that 19 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, frozen fish, bulk salt, bulk rice, containers, bulk gas, aviation fuel, bulk charcoal and petrol. (NAN)
