Six ships have arrived Lagos ports, waiting to discharge petrol, diesel and aviation fuel.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – ‘Shipping Position’, which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.
The document noted that 21 ships laden with.petroleum products, food items and other goods were being expected to arrive in Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports from March 15 to March 26.
NPA explained that the expected ships contained bulk rice, buck wheat, bulk charcoal, steel products, diesel, petrol, container, bulk gypsum and Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK).
NAN reports that 18 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk sugar, buck wheat, fuel oil, bulk fertiliser, frozen fish, steel products, diesel and petrol. (NAN)
