Barcelona forward, Ousmane Dembele, benched since September, has been selected to make his reappearance on Thursday’s Copa del Rey clash against Celta Vigo.
Since injuring his hamstring at Getafe on September 16, 3 games into his Barcelona career following a 105 million Euro ($124 million) transfer from Borussia Dortmund that could rise to 145 million euros ($174 million) Dembele has been unable to feature.
Barcelona stated on Tuesday “After a lengthy recovery process from an injury to the femoral biceps on his left thigh, the 20-year-old Frenchman is now available for (Barcelona coach) Ernesto Valverde,”
Barcelona are set to match against Celta Vigo, being coached by Juan Carlos Unzue former Barcelonia keeper and assistant manager, in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey, of the Spanish Cup.
