Thirty-three ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa port and Tin-Can Island port in Lagos from Thursday to June 19.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.
It said that the ships contained buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, empty containers, diesel, bulk corn, bulk sugar, base oil, petrol and containers laden with goods.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 15 other ships had arrived at the ports earlier, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel, base oil and petrol.
Also, 17 other ships are currently at the ports discharging buck wheat, steel products, crude palmolein, general cargo, frozen fish, containers and aviation fuel. (NAN)
