Abubakar Malami, the minister of justice and Attorney-General of Nigeria (AGF) has departed the country to attend a three-day meeting of the United States-Nigeria Bi-national Commission in Washington DC.

The meeting among the three nations is on the repatriation of the $321 stolen and hidden abroad by the regime of late General Sani Abacha, a former Nigerian leader.

The AGF’s departure from the country was revealed by his special assistant on media and public relations, Umar Gwandu.

The Herald gathered that Malami is also expected to, on behalf of the federal government, attend a meeting in the capital of the US, to review Nigeria’s bilateral relations with the world power.
