No fewer than 30 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to berth at Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports in Lagos from May 30 to June 19.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said this in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.
According to NPA, the ships contain bulk wheat, fertiliser, corn, sugar, base oil, crude palm oil, petrol general cargo, empty containers, and other containers laden with goods.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that nine ships had arrived at the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel, base oil and petrol.
NAN also reports that 12 other ships were already at the ports discharging bulk wheat, steel products, general cargo, frozen fish, containers and aviation fuel. (NAN)
