Three militants from the Islamic State extremist group, all foreign nationals who attacked Turkish security forces in 2014, were given lifetime jail sentences on Wednesday.
The Dogan news agency said some were given multiple life sentences, in addition to fines.
Among the three is one person who earlier media reports indicated was a dual national of Germany and Kosovo.
In the March 2014 attack, a police officer, a soldier and a truck driver were killed, after the militants were stopped at a roadblock.
Islamic State, starting last year, has been blamed for a series of suicide bombings in the country, including the capital Ankara and in Istanbul. (dpa/NAN)
