Three men belonging to the Bakassi Vigilante group were killed yesterday in a shootout by unknown gunmen.
The men of the Vigilante group were reportedly attacked in broad daylight along the Aba Owerri road in Aba.
Reports indicated that the shooting took place before the MCC Junction, opposite Seventh Day Adventist Church (Sabbath), opposite Toonak.
Two other members of the vigilante group were reported to have sustained fatal injuries and have since been taken to the Abia State Teaching Hospital for treatment.
