The Niger Delta Avengers militant group has disclosed that it is unperturbed by the news circulating that the President, Muhammadu Buhari has paid the sum of $258 million to hire mercenaries from Saudi in tackling them.
In reports to reports that the federal government has signed agreement with the Saudi Blackwater mercenaries, the spokesperson of the group, Brig Gen Mudoch Agbinibo said the group was not disturbed at the very least.
In a chat with news agency, Vanguard, the militant group spokesperson revealed that the group had nothing to worry about.
The confirmation of the Federal Government’s move came into light as a staff of the Royal Embassy of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Nigeria supposedly confirmed the $280 million deal.
