The Sokoto State government has discharged 22 out of the 75 coronavirus patients in the state.
Dr Ali Inname, the Chairman of the state Taskforce Committee on COVID-19 and Commissioner for Health said this while updating newsmen on coronavirus cases in the state on Tuesday.
He said: “This brings to 41 the total number of COVID-19 patients, out of 176 cases, so far discharged by the Task Force.

“This development shows that many of those infected by the disease do recover and go about their normal activities.
“For this reason, ‘the governor implored the people of the state,’ we should avoid stigmatization of any kind of those infected by the virus.”
