Popular prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele says Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State will be disappointed by his political godfather, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in his bid to return as governor in 2023.
Ayodele said that there would be rancour between both men over Sanwo-Olu’s second term ticket, noting that the governor’s return was not certain because of forces fighting against him.
Sanwo-Olu defeated then-incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, who fell out with Tinubu, to clinch the gubernatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2019 election.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele said Sanwo-Olu would also be disappointed by Tinubu.
Primate Ayodele, who is the Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, also warned that Muslims could rise against Christians to ensure they win the 2023 gubernatorial election in Lagos.
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will disappoint Governor Sanwoolu in 2023, there will be rancor between them because of the governorship ticket in Lagos. The governorship race will be the major cause of their rancor in 2023. Meanwhile, Tinubu will create more problems for himself by disappointing the Lagos governor.
“I see a crisis between the Muslims and Christians in 2023. The Muslims will not take it easy, they will fight and make sure they get the ticket in 2023,” he said.
