National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has quietly set up his campaign headquarters in Abuja in preparation for seeking the presidency in 2023, a report has claimed.
According to the report by Peoples Gazzette online newspaper, the property is a 2,700-square metre property in the Maitama area. It used to house a private school, Eagle Heights International Schools, sitting just north of the Philippines Embassy at 2, Kainji Crescent and just across the street from Body of Benchers.
The property was said to have been rented for two years at N15 million per annum.
The report further quoted unnamed officials as confirming that though no outside signs point to activities going on within the premises, activities have however picked up inside towards actualising the dream for which the property was rented.

Tinubu has been linked to the 2023 presidency and is perceived to be one of the frontrunners, although he has yet to publicly declare interest.
Shortly after President Muhammadu Buhari-led National Executive Committee (NEC) ordered the dissolution of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) in June, Tinubu reacted to his rumoured 2023 presidential ambition.
The former Lagos state governor said, “To those who have been actively bleating about how Buhari’s actions and the NEC meeting have ended my purported 2023 ambitions, I seek your pity.
“I am but a mere mortal who does not enjoy the length of foresight or political wisdom you profess to have. Already, you have assigned colourful epitaphs to the 2023 death of an alleged political ambition that is not yet even born.”
