A leader of the Arewa community in the South, Alhaji Musa Saidu, says Ndigbo should not allow themselves to be deceived by empty promises.
He said that while their agitation for 2023 presidency was legitimate, it would not materialise until Ndigbo learnt to build bridges of peace.
Saidu, who is the Dam-buran of Port Harcourt and leader of the Northern community in Rivers State, lamented the alleged killing of some northerners doing business in Oyigbo area of Rivers State without repercussion.
He noted that Igbo leaders did not condemn the killings despite their people’s alleged complicity in the acts.
