Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye of the group Psquare has again encouraged Nigerian youths to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) and vote according to their conscience in 2023.
He appealed to the youths to disappoint politicians fond of using monetary and material inducements during election period.
Peter Psquare, who is a known supporter of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, made the appeal on Monday.
He expressed delight that more youths were showing interest in the coming election.
He explained that the failure of political leaders should not discourage the youths from actively participating in the electoral process.
He wrote, “Politically speaking!
“For the very first time I see Nigerian youths turning out this much to get their PVC!
Baba God don pick our calls oooooooo😇🙏🏽
“For the fact that politicians have failed Nigerians doesnt mean you should sit down and say we should not take back our country. Go get your pvc’s….. The time is now. Atleast vote and have the right to condemn when things aint going right!
“Their Rice and #1k must fail them this time around.
“If they try to buy you for 1k Naira to vote for them. Tell them you also deserve the $40,000 they gave each delegates.
