Presidential aspirant, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu on Monday paid a courtesy call on Leader of Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adesanya in his Lekki Phase One, Lagos home.
Moghalu, who is a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), vied for the 2019 presidency under the Young Progressive Party (YPP) platform.
In a Facebook post he shared after the visit, the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) wrote, “I visited elder statesman Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Chairman of Afenifere yesterday on consultation.

“I was accompanied by Jide Akintunde and Femi Agunbiade, members of the Moghalu4Nigeria (M4N) movement. An electrifying 90 minutes.
“The elder statesman wants a competent Nigerian from Southeast as the next President of Nigeria, but remains strongly opposed to 1999 Constitution.
“Aged 94 and along with Chief Mbazulike Amechi the oldest nationalist politicians still alive, Pa Adebanjo’s knowledge of Nigeria’s nooks and crannies from electioneering campaigns in the 50s/60s is deep!”
