Aspirants vying for the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will cough out N100 million to purchase the necessary forms, The Herald can report.
National Publicity Secretary of APC, Felix Morka confirmed the development shortly after the party’s 11th National Executive Meeting (NEC) meeting held in Abuja on Wednesday.
President Muhammadu Buhari chaired the meeting which also resolved to adopt the indirect primary option, rather than consensus, to pick the 2023 presidential flagbearer of the party.
According to Morka, the nomination form costs N70 million while expression of interest form costs N30 million.
