2019 BET Soul Train Awards: Wizkid, Drake, Lizzo Among Top Winners

The 2019 edition of the Soul Train annual awards ceremony was held last night at Orleans hotel, Las Vegas. The show was aired live on BET and hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold.

Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl featuring Wizkid and Saint Jhn won the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award

Chris Brown’s “No Guidance song which featured Drake, led the winners Sunday night at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards, prevailing in a total of three categories. The song was named song of the year, best dance performance and best collaboration performance at the awards show.

Meanwhile, Lizzo took home two awards, one for video of the year for “Juice” and another for album/mixtape of the year for Cuz I Love You.

Trevor Jackson won the Soul Train Certified award, Summer Walker was named  Best new artiste and Kirk Franklin won the best gospel/inspirational award.
