Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma, Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, has told President Muhammadu Buhari to prepare to vacate office in 2019 as God will not give him a second term.
The fiery preacher made this known in a national address at the first session of the seventeenth synod of the Diocese of Enugu on Friday.
He said although Buhari had signified interest in seeking reelection in 2019, “I can tell you that God will not allow him.”
Also, he wondered why the only Christian girl among the Dapchi girls, Leah Sharibu, continued to remain in Boko Haram captivity despite assurances by the Federal Government.
The cleric urged the president to secure her release or the Presidential Villa, Abuja would soon become a “living hell”.
He gave an ultimatum for the release of Leah Sharibu, saying, “I am given Buhari ultimatum for 72hours in this synod if the Dapchi girl is not released the Ask Rock will be in trouble let them go and note it.
“We are told that she was held back because she refused to renounced her Christian Faith, may the Lord deliver from their captive in Jesus Name if not let the Aso Rock be on fire.”
In the same vein, Archbishop Chukwuma berated the Federal Government under Buhari for its “selective” handling of the war on corruption and “insincere” treatment of the Fulani herdsmen crisis.
Archbishop Chukwuma added, “We know that why he has refused to relieve the service chiefs of their positions is because he has a hidden agenda”.
