The Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, has visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Dankwambo visited the ex-president at his penthouse located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State on Tuesday afternoon.
The Gombe governor, who arrived with his entourage around some minutes past 1pm, immediately proceeded into a closed-door meeting with Obasanjo.
While the agenda of the meeting was not immediately known, it is believed to be connected to Dankwambo’s presidential ambition.
Obasanjo’s residence has turned a Mecca of sorts, with many presidential aspirants of the PDP visited him for consultations in recent times.
Senate President Bukola Saraki on Monday also visited Obasanjo, saying he met the ex-president over the crises happening at the National Assembly.
